The Fitness Clinic was founded in 1982 as a professional alternative to traditional health clubs and gyms. At The Fitness Clinic we believe the process of “physiological aging” can be slowed, stopped or even reversed, through exercise, healthy eating, flexibility, stress management and nutrition. Initially, we assess the starting levels of Lean Body Mass, Cardio-Vascular fitness, flexibility and strength for each client. We take into consideration the individuals health history, current issues and time availability to create a program specifically for them based on their needs and goals.

The most important factor in improving the physiological aging process is to have a well-balanced, structured program with monitorable progression. This program should include exercises that incorporate resistance, balance, cardio-vascular, core and stretching exercises, functional movement and nutrition. In the normal process of aging, reductions in each of these areas occur. In our program, we can slow, stop or reverse them.
